It’s not summer without a juicy, tasty, homemade burger. Here are two ways make them yourself end enjoy.
Ingredients:
Traditional Bacon Cheeseburgers
- 4 lean ground beef patties
- 4 hamburger buns
- Borden Grilled Cheese Melts
- 4 slices bacon, cooked
Onion and bacon Jam Cheese Burgers
- 4 lean ground beef patties
- 1 sliced white onion
- 4 hamburger buns
- Borden Grilled Cheese Melts
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped.
Directions:
Traditional Bacon Cheeseburgers
- Broil or grill over medium heat for 4 to 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through (internal temperature should be 160degrees F)
- Toast buns on the grill, open side down, about 30 seconds.
- Place one or two slices of Borden Grilled Cheese Melts for 15 seconds on cooked beef patties. Add the bacon slices to each burger.
- Serve burgers on toasted buns with desired toppings and condiments.
Onion and bacon Jam Cheese Burgers
- In a saucepan at medium heat add sliced onion with butter. Once done and onions are translucent, add chopped bacon. Mix them well and once done reserve.
- Broil or grill patties over medium heat for 4 to 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through (internal temperature should be 160 degrees F)
- Toast buns on the grill, open side down about 30 seconds.
- Place one slice of Borden Grilled Cheese Melts on each beef patty for 15 seconds.
- Serve burgers on toasted buns with onion and bacon jam and desired toppings and condiments.
