
Spice Up Your Mealtime with These Flavor-Packed Cajun Style Fish Tacos!
Ingredients:
For the Salad:
- 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
- 1 Roma tomato, seeded and diced
- 1/2 cup pineapple
- 1-2 jalapeños
- 1/4 cup red onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1-2 limes
For the Cajun Seasoning:
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
For the Tacos:
- 3 Tilapia fish fillets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- La Banderita corn tortillas
- Avocado
For the Chipotle Sauce:
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
- Sriracha to taste
- Ground chipotle to taste
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon
- 1/2 tbsp honey
Preparation:
To prepare the salad, finely chop all the ingredients. In a bowl, mix the purple cabbage, pineapple, Roma tomato, jalapeño pepper, and red onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add 2 tbsp of olive oil and the juice of 1 or 2 limes. Mix and set aside.
Prepare the Cajun seasoning with the ingredients and season the Tilapia fillets, cut into medium cubes.
Place them in a single layer in the air fryer for 20 minutes at 400°F
To prepare the chipotle sauce, mix the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Sriracha, and chipotle. Season with onion powder, the juice of one lemon, salt, pepper to taste, and 1/2 tbsp of honey. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
Once the fish is ready, prepare the tacos!
Use LA BANDERITA tortilla, place avocado and the fish, a little of the salad, and dress with the chipotle sauce.
Serve with a very cold PEPSI!
