Delicious Middle Eastern Kabobs: A Flavorful Journey to the Heart of the Mediterranean
Ingredients:
- ½ medium yellow onion
- 4 large cloves garlic
- Fresh parsley
- 1 lb. ground beef
- Salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp. thyme
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp cumin
- 1½ tbsp Sumac
- ½ tbsp Paprika
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ cup bone broth
Preparation:
- In a food processor, pulse together the yellow onion cloves garlic, and a large handful of fresh parsley. Pulse well.
- Add ground beef to a large bowl. Top it with the marinate. Then add three pinches salt, thyme, turmeric, cumin, sumac, paprika and pepper.
- Add baking soda and bone broth. Mix it well, cover and let it rest at least 30 mins.
- After at least 30 min make the logs: Wet your hands to make it easier and roll the meat them into log or patties. Pan fry them on medium heat till they develop a nice crust on all sides.
- Prepare simple pickled red onions: slicing 1 large red onion, add it to a bowl, top with the juice of 1 large lemon, a couple pinches salt, and 2 tbsp sumac. Mix well, then let onions sit for 30 mins
- You can plate them with Kraft Ranch Dressing
