SPICY GARLIC SHRIMP

Garlic Fire Dance: Shrimp That Sings with Spice

Ingredients:

  • 2.2 lbs (1 kg) peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 1 head of garlic, finely chopped
  • 5 guajillo chiles
  • 3 whole árbol chiles
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Maggi seasoning
  • Salt, pepper, and paprika to taste
  • 1/2 cup (90g) butter
  • 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley

Preparation:

  1. Mince the garlic very finely and cut the guajillo chiles into thin strips with scissors.
  2. In a hot skillet, add the oil and butter.
  3. Add the árbol chiles, garlic, and guajillo chiles.
  4. Season the shrimp with mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and Maggi seasoning.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add to the skillet and flip after 3 minutes.
  7. Finish cooking, squeeze in the lemon juice, and garnish with fresh parsley.
